VIDEOGRAPHY

In Fall 2023 I enrolled in a photography class at Penn State that also covered videography topics. For a midterm project, I interviewed a local drummer and music hobbyist. The work is titled Behind the Kit. The rubric was to find an individual who has a long-term hobby or career and inquire how they got started and what drives their on-going passion. A study objective was to also incorporate sounds relevant to the topic. The availability of a drummer for this academic interview provided a nice rhythmic cadence to video cut scenes and background ambiance.

 

An early example of my videography skills was done in 2022 for our Cedar Park High School FIRST Robotics team, 5052 The Robolobos. In addition to helping with hardware design and construction of the robot, I was also able to assist with co-authoring a video narrative script, shooting footage, and doing the final arrangement and edit for our promotional video.
